Juvenile Injured in Allston Shooting as Police Continue Investigation

Authorities in Boston are investigating a Thursday evening shooting in the Allston neighborhood that left a juvenile injured.

According to the Boston Police Department, officers from the Brighton/Allston district responded to reports of gunfire near 222 Brighton Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they located the victim at 10 Allston Street suffering from a gunshot wound.

The injured individual, believed to be under the age of 18, was transported to a nearby hospital. Police confirmed that the injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The suspect fled the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made. Investigators continue to search for leads in the case.

Local representative Liz Breadon described the incident as isolated, noting it stemmed from a personal conflict rather than a broader public safety threat.

“My thoughts are with the victim, their family, and all those impacted by this senseless violence,” Breadon said in a statement.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation remains ongoing.
